Teplingen is a village in Wendland in Lower Saxony and is part of the city of Wustrow (Wendland) .
geography
The place is one kilometer southwest of Wustrow on the L 262. The disused Salzwedel – Dannenberg railway , which had a stop in Teplingen , ran south .
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1476 under the name Tepelink in the Wustrow house book.
For the year 1848 it is stated that Teplingen had 233 residential buildings in which 141 people lived. At the time the place was parish after Rebenstorf . On December 1, 1910, Teplingen in the Lüchow district had 162 inhabitants. On July 1, 1972, Teplingen was incorporated into Wustrow.
