Gara-dake ( transcription from Japanese が ら 岳 'mountain' ) is a 2247 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises in the northern part of the Belgica Mountains .
Japanese scientists photographed it from the air in 1976, took measurements between 1979 and 1980, and named it in 1981.
