García Álvarez ( Garssie Alvarez dominus de Cayphas , * before 1235, † before 1257) was lord of Haifa by marriage .

He was evidently a Spanish knight. He was the second husband of Helvis von Haifa , eldest daughter and heir to Rohard II von Haifa , widow of Gottfried Poulain . By their right he was master of Haifa. As such, he is attested as a witness in a document dated May 4, 1250 as Garssie Alvarez dominus de Cayphas . After his death around 1257, his wife married Jean de Valenciennes for the third time .
