Garmsar ( Persian گرمسار) is an Iranian city ​​in Semnan Province .

Garmsar is located in northern Iran about 82 kilometers southeast of the capital Tehran . It is on the edge of the Dascht-e Kawir , the largest desert in Iran. Most people commute to the capital to work.
