Gaspare Firriolo
Gaspare Firriolo (active in the 2nd half of the 18th century in Palermo ) was a classicist sculptor and plasterer in Sicily .
Life
Gaspare Firriolo was the younger brother of the plasterer Giuseppe Firriolo . He received his training in the workshop of Procopio Serpotta , of whom he was also a frequent employee. His activity was limited to the immediate vicinity of Palermo. His most important work is the group of sculptures "Four Seasons" in the Botanical Garden of Palermo .
