Gastón Puerari , full name Leonardo Gastón Puerari Torres , (born January 23, 1986 in Paysandú ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.73-meter-tall offensive player known as "el Chuky" , who was also part of the department selection of Paysandú between 2004 and 2007, belonged to the first division squad of the Montevidean club Rampla Juniors in the early stages of his career at least since the Clausura 2008 , from whose youth team he comes. There he played twelve games (two goals) in the Primera División in that half series and came to 22 other first division appearances (three goals) in the following season. In mid-2008 he took an interim engagement on loan at the Ecuadorian club Emelec , where he played three times in the top division of the country in the second phase of the season (Segunda Fase), but without being able to show a competitive goal win. He then returned to the Rampla Juniors. In the 2009/10 season as well as in the Apertura 2010 he was under contract with the Montevideo Wanderers . There he completed 35 league games and scored eight goals. At the beginning of February 2011 he was transferred to the American football club Chicago Fire . By June of that year he was used there 14 times (one goal) and then left on loan to the Mexican club Atlas Guadalajara . For the Central Americans, however, he played only three games in the league in the 2011 Apertura. His next career station was back in his Uruguayan homeland, where he joined the capital city club Defensor in January 2012 . After a total of six games (one goal) in the Primera División in the Clausura 2012 and only one more goalless use in the Apertura 2012 and a substitution in the Copa Libertadores , he moved on to league rivals El Tanque Sisley at the end of 2012 . The coach there set him up 13 times (two goals) in the 2013 Clausura. He was also used twice in the Copa Sudamericana 2013 . In the current 2013/14 season he played in seven games (no goal) or nine games (one goal) of the Primera División until the end of the Apertura, depending on the sources. In early January 2014, he moved to league rivals Juventud . There are ten league appearances and three goals for Puerari in the rest of the season. In the 2014/15 season he was used in 28 first division games (seven goals). This was followed by twelve first division appearances (four goals) and four (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . In January 2016 he joined CSD Municipal . With the Guatemalans so far (as of March 3, 2017) he has played 46 games in the Liga Nacional and scored 15 goals.
