The Gatwick Stream is a watercourse in West Sussex , England . It arises from two unnamed tributaries east of Crawley . It initially flows north, but then turns west to cross north of junction 10a of the M23 motorway and flow through Crawley. Within the resort, the Gatwick Stream turns north again on the Brighton Main Line of the railroad and flows along the east side of Gatwick Airport to its confluence with the River Mole on the northeast side of the airport.
