Gaudibert is an impact crater on the front of the moon on the western edge of the Montes Pyrenaeus , between Mare Nectaris and Mare Fecunditatis , east of the Daguerre crater and southeast of Capella . The crater is very irregular and strongly shaped.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the French astronomer and selenographer Casimir Marie Gaudibert .
