The Gauliga Köln-Aachen 1942/43 was the second season of the Gauliga Köln-Aachen of the professional football department . The Gauliga was played this season in a group of ten teams in a round-robin tournament. In the end, SV Victoria Cologne prevailed and was the first time master of Cologne-Aachen. This qualified the Cologne for the German soccer championship 1942/43 , in which they reached the second round after a 2-0 away win against TuS Neuendorf . In this, Cologne retired after a 5-0 defeat against FV Saarbrücken . Since several war syndicates were formed in the next season , there were no relegated teams this season.
