The island of Gavi ( it . : Isola di Gavi ) is a small rocky island within the archipelago of the Pontine Islands , which also includes Ponza , Ventotene , Palmarola , Santo Stefano and Zannone . It is located 120 meters east of Ponza and belongs to the municipality of Ponza , is 700 meters long and 350 meters wide. It has an area of 14 hectares.
fauna
Apart from a small, inhabited hut, there are no human settlements on the island. A typical representative of the animal world is a special type of lizard that only occurs here. There are also mice , rabbits and scorpions .
