Gavin Hunter Reid
Gavin Hunter Reid OBE (born May 24, 1934 ) is Bishop Emeritus of Maidstone .
Life
Gavin Hunter Reid attended John Roan School in Greenwich , studied at King's College London and was ordained deacon in 1960 and priestly in 1963 . He then became a curate in East Ham .
From 1992 to 2001 he was Assistant Bishop to the Archbishop of Canterbury with the title of Bishop of Maidstone. He then became assistant bishop in the Anglican diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.
