Gayle Lynds

Gayle Lynds (formerly Gayle Hallenbeck Stone ; born 1950 in Omaha , Nebraska ) is an American author . She mainly wrote thrillers and novels . Under the pseudonym G. H. Stone she wrote several volumes for the youth crime series The Three ??? .

Life and accomplishments

Gayle Lynds grew up in Council Bluffs , Iowa . She studied journalism at the University of Iowa. After graduation, she worked as a journalist. She worked as a reporter for the Arizona Republic in Phoenix, Arizona . Then Lynds worked for US intelligence for a few years. Eventually she began her writing career. Their award-winning spy bestsellers have been translated into twenty languages. Gayle Lynds was married to Dennis Lynds from 1986 until his death in 2005 . They lived together in Santa Barbara , California .
