The Gazella peak is about 120 m (according to British specifications 180 m ) high mountain on Bird Iceland off the northwestern tip of South Georgia . It rises between Roché Peak and the Cordall Stacks on the north side of the island.
The South Georgia Survey mapped it during its 1951-1957 survey campaign . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1964 after the Antarctic fur seal ( Arctocephalus gazella ), one of whose distribution areas Bird Island is one.
