Gbangbatoke is a place in the Moyamba district in the Southern Province in Sierra Leone, West Africa . It is the headquarters of the Banta Chiefdom .
The village is best known as the birthplace of Milton and Albert Margai , two of the most important political figures in the country's history.
Traditionally the Mende live in Gbangbatoke . Gbangbatoke has one of the few airfields in the country with the Gbangbatoke airfield .
