The Schkortleben Memorial is a listed memorial in the Schkortleben district of the city of Weißenfels in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the memorial is registered as a monument under registration number 094 15339 .

The memorial is a memorial for the fallen and missing soldiers of the Franco-German War and the First World War in the village of Schkortleben. Only the base of the monument to the Franco-German War still exists, it can be seen that something was broken off. Since the inscription is barely legible, it could also be a memorial to the German War . The memorial for the First World War is a wall with a relief . The relief consists of three parts. The left part is a soldier with flowers in hand, his head singed. The right part is a woman who also holds flowers in her hand and has singed her head. They both look at a tombstone in the middle of the wall. There is a relief of an iron cross above this tombstone . The wall contains the inscription For the fatherland died in World War 1914-1918 .

The memorial is located at the intersection of the streets Zum Ried and Mühlenweg .
