history
With a population of over 50 million and a pronounced baseball cult as well as the KBO League , one of the world's most successful professional baseball leagues, there has been increased interest in cooperation between the league and South Korean professional sport since the Australian Baseball League was founded in 2010. In June 2018 it was confirmed that a team with only South Korean players would be established in Geelong . The team's first home game is scheduled for November 22, 2018. The state of Victoria has pledged financial support to set up the team and accommodate the South Korean players and media representatives. On October 5, 2018, the club's official logo was presented.
