Geer Pouls (born August 20, 1952 in Venlo ) is a Dutch artist and gallery owner.
Life
Geer Pouls studied in Berlin, Tokyo and Utrecht and has worked as a freelance artist since 1982. In 1988 he founded Brutto Gusto a gallery and flower shop in Rotterdam, where he organizes projects in collaboration with artists such as Piotr Nathan , Lawrence Weiner and Daan van Golden were. The work and projects are always about the relationship to nature, the use as a consumer good plays an important role. He has lived and worked in Berlin-Mitte since 2007 , where he continues his activities under the name Brutto Gusto.
Works
There are works by him in the collections of the Stedelijk Museum , Amsterdam, the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen , Rotterdam, the Documenta archive in Kassel and the Museum of Modern Art in Arnhem, as well as many public and private collections.
