European Formula 3 Cup
The European Formula 3 Cup was a race of vehicles of the Formula 3 class that took place on various racetracks in Europe .
The event was launched by the FIA in 1985 as the successor to the European Formula 3 championship and was held on various European racetracks until 1990. After a nine-year break, the race was held from 1999 to 2003 on the annual Circuit de Pau in France as part of the Grand Prix de Pau . In 2003 the Cup was held as a race in the Formula 3 Euro Series and in 2004 as a race in the British Formula 3 Championship .
