The spotted dwarf catfish ( Aspidoras pauciradiatus , syn .: Corydoras pauciradiatus ), also known as the dwarf loach catfish , is a species of fish from the family of the armored catfish (Callichthyidae), which occurs in the river basin of the upper Rio Araguaia in Brazil. The type locality is located near the municipality of Aruanã in the state of Goiás .

The spotted miniature catfish is only three centimeters long. It is colored sand yellow to olive brown and has a golden sheen. The head and sides of the body are patterned with numerous, small, mostly irregularly arranged black spots, which, however, can also be arranged in longitudinal rows or can be fused into short bands. A black band extends from the eyes to the tip of the snout. The fins are transparent and dotted with black. The lower part of the dorsal fin is black, the adipose fin has a black band. The fin rays of the caudal fin are golden yellow, the spots on the caudal fin are arranged in three to four vertical bands. The belly is light yellow or white and unspotted. Above the center line of the body, there are 23 bone plates in the spotted dwarf catfish, below there are 20.
