The homestead at Fohrder Hauptstrasse 7 in the town of Havelsee , in the Fohrde district, is a listed residential building with associated stables and a barn.
Building
It is a one-story residential building that faces the street. The most striking detail is a rich frieze with small consoles and a cornice just below the eaves . The portal can be reached via a six-step flight of stairs . It has pilasters with flowery capitals and an ornate roof with coats of arms. The decorated wooden door is double-leaf and has small skylight windows.
A simple double cornice runs over the base. The windows of the facade facing the street are also provided with pilasters with flowery capitals. The window roofs are a bit simpler than the roofing of the portal. Another cornice, cranked around the pilasters, runs under the windows and is apparently supported by consoles, which are here an extension of the pilasters. The outer right and left windows are each in a slightly protruding side elevation . The cornice also runs cranked around this.
The roof is a perfectly simple, with beaver tails thatched gable roof with hatches. The other sides of the house are kept unadorned and have inconspicuous windows. Furthermore, part of the monument made of bare bricks brick barn and the barn in the yard.
