Gyāwa-i-Pāyān (کیاوهٔ پائين) Even Gejawa , Giawa and Geyawa , is an Afghan village in the district Nijrab in the province of Kapisa .
Neighboring towns are Margar , Ashorkhel , Kandi , Khwaja Ahmad and Tarang Sara .
Gejawa is about 1877 meters above sea level.
Between July 2012 and August 2013, the Amin Kapisa Construction Group built a hospital in Gejawa. The clinic was built on behalf of the Ministry of Drug Control as part of a development project.
Air raid
According to the local police chief and Afghan President Hamid Karzai , seven children and a mentally disabled 20-year-old were killed in a NATO air raid on a house in Gejawa on February 8, 2011 . The night before, there is said to have been an ISAF mission in the village.
