Cast object with remnants of molding sand , the figures still have to be separated.
Yellow caster , as Grapen- or Gropengießer called, is a profession that at the end of the 18th century as a specialization from the Rotgießer - and Gürtlerhandwerk developed.
The brass caster made small objects made of brass by means of casting in clay - or since the 18th century in sand molds , which were then polished , ground, turned or gilded. Typical products include grapes , mortars , buckles , small candlesticks, figures, fittings , bells and bells , fittings for fire departments and buttons .
