Gellert Tamas
Gellert Tamas (born February 17, 1963 ) is a Swedish journalist, writer and documentary filmmaker.
The son of a Hungarian academic family grew up in Kristianstad . He studied political science , economics and economic history at Lund University . In 1986 he spent several weeks studying in East Berlin .
Tamas has worked for Dagens Nyheter , Sweden's leading daily newspaper, and as a journalist for TV4 . Tamas became known for his book Lasermannen - en berättelse om Sverige (dt. The laser man - from elite student to serial offender. A book about Sweden , Leipzig 2007) about the multiple murderer John Ausonius , published in 2002 . The book became a bestseller and was filmed as a TV series for SVT in 2005 .
