Gendrikas Stukas

Gendrikas Stukas (* in the Lithuanian SSR before 1960 ) is a Lithuanian politician and former vice minister .

Life

After graduating from secondary school, he completed his degree in economics. On December 9, 1980, he did his doctorate on information aggregation - disaggregation in macroeconomic models at the Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas . On February 17, 1992, the Lithuanian Prime Minister Vagnorius appointed him Deputy Minister of Economics of Lithuania in the Vagnorius I cabinet . On 4 December 1992 he relieved Lithuanian Prime Minister Aleksandras Abišala in Cabinet Abišala . From 1995 he headed the administration and was Deputy Director of the Competition Authority of Lithuania , appointed by the Lithuanian Prime Minister Adolfas Šleževičius . In 2002 he was a member of the Lithuanian Commission on Privatization . In 2004 he was acting head of Lietuvos Respublikos konkurencijos taryba .
