Genlisea lobata is a carnivorous species from the genus of trap traps ( Genlisea ), which was first described in 1989 .

description

Compared to other members of its genus, this species is very small and also has very small flowers that are white in color and the upper area is criss-crossed with blue-purple veins. The short leaves are spatulate. The corolla lobes of Genlisea lobata are clearly delineated and thus differ from most other species of the genus. The number of chromosomes is 2n = 16.

distribution

This species is found on sandy soils or sandstone rocks overgrown with moss in Brazil .
