Geoffrey Owens
Geoffrey Owens (born March 18, 1961 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor .
Owens was best known for his role as Elvin Tibideaux , the son-in-law of Cliff Huxtable ( Bill Cosby ) on the Bill Cosby Show . He played the role from 1985 to 1992. After the series Owens played several supporting roles in the series Law & Order . His father was the US politician Major Owens .
In August 2018, a fan of the Cosby Show photographed the actor at work at the Trader Joe’s supermarket chain . After this photo hit social media, Owens received new movie offers.
