The Geoid Glacier is a glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . From Thomas Heights it flows south west of Ellipsoid Hill to Blue Glacier .
The glacier is one of a series of geographic objects that the New Zealand Geographic Board named in 1993 using terms from geodesy and mathematics . It is named after the geoid .
