The Thomas Heights are a series of mountain ridges in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They extend east from Bettle Peak to the Scott Coast . They form part of the watershed between the lower sections of the Ferrar Glacier and the Blue Glacier .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1983 at the suggestion of the New Zealand geologist Robert H. Findlay after Arthur Allan Thomas (* 1938), geologist of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program in this area between 1977 and 1981.
