Georg Adler (born May 28, 1863 in Posen , † September 15, 1908 in Berlin ) was a German economist .

Life

Adler received his habilitation at the age of 23 and graduated from the University of Freiburg / Br. appointed associate professor in 1890. In autumn 1900, Adler was appointed associate professor of political science at Kiel University.

According to his chosen research focus, he can be assigned to the historical school. In addition to studying economic history, he devoted himself to the history of ideas and the problems of socialism. The publication of the main works of socialism and social policy since 1904 was of particular importance in his work .
