Georg Benjamin Gloxin
Georg Benjamin Gloxin (* 1660 in Worms or Colmar , † after 1685 probably in Colmar) was a German doctor and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".
Georg Benjamin Gloxin was a respondent at the University of Strasbourg . He was a city doctor in Colmar and belonged to the Colmar Gloxin family, whose origins lay in Arnswalde . Benjamin Peter Gloxin was a descendant of Georg Benjamin Gloxin.
On February 23, 1685, Georg Benjamin Gloxin, nicknamed SERENUS I, was accepted as a member ( matriculation no. 130 ) in the Leopoldina .
