Georg Caspers

Georg Caspers (* 1969 in Koblenz ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1989 at Görres-Gymnasium (Koblenz) and doing military service (1989–1990) in Mittenwald , he studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau from 1990 to 1995 (1995 first state examination in law ). After receiving his doctorate in 1997 in Freiburg im Breisgau, he completed his legal clerkship in Mainz from 1997 to 1999 . After the second state examination in 1999, he worked from 1999 to 2005 as a research assistant at the Institute for Business Law, Labor Law and Social Security Law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg ( Manfred Löwisch ). After his habilitation in 2007 in Freiburg im Breisgau ( license to teach civil law, labor law, social law), he has held the chair for civil law and labor law at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg since 2007 .
