Georg Christian (politician)
Georg August Christian (born May 14, 1867 in Sulzbach ; † December 17, 1936 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German farmer and politician ( DNVP , CNBL ).
Life
After graduating from elementary school, Christian attended agricultural college. Later he worked as a farmer in Höchst .
During the time of the Weimar Republic Christian joined the German National People's Party (DNVP). He was a city councilor in Höchst and was elected to the Prussian state parliament in February 1921 and December 1924 as a member of the Hessen-Nassau constituency. After leaving the DNVP, he had been a member of the Peasant and Rural People's Party (BLVP) since March 27, 1928. In May 1928 he was re-elected to the state parliament as a state election proposal by the Christian National Peasant and Rural People's Party (CNBL), to which he belonged until 1932 as a member of the German parliamentary group.
