Georg Daniel Raht

Georg Daniel Raht (born January 4, 1740 in Diez ; † after 1815 ) was a Nassau-Orange and later a ducal Nassau bailiff and councilor.

Georg Daniel Raht studied law and entered the Orange civil service, where he was promoted to the judiciary. He married Dorothea Philippine, born in Herborn, on November 22, 1768 in Diez, the daughter of the lay judge Johann Georg Herborn. His son Adolph Raht also became a lawyer and became known as a member of the Nassau state parliament. Between 1781 and 1789 he was bailiff in the Rennerod office . From 1811 to 1813 he was a bailiff in the Nassau office .
