Georg Foerster (judge)

Georg Foerster (born October 29, 1844 in Posen , † September 27, 1916 ) was a German judge .

Life

The son of a district judge from Schweidnitz began to study law in Heidelberg. He was Protestant. During his student days he was a member of the Corps Silesia Breslau from 1865 . In 1867 he was sworn in to the Prussian sovereign. In the Franco-Prussian War he was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd class. In 1875 he became a city and district judge. In 1879 he was appointed magistrate. In 1882 he was promoted to prosecutor and in 1889 to first prosecutor. In 1896 he came to the Imperial Court . He was in the III. Criminal Senate active. He retired in 1910. Foerster was a member of the Magdeburg Freemason Lodge Ferdinand for happiness .
