Georg Götz (politician)

Georg Götz (* 22. February 1869 in Pressath , district office Eschenbach ; † 14. August 1939 ) was a Bavarian royal District Officer , Royal Councilor and member of the Chamber of Deputies .

Life

Götz studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and joined the Bavarian government in 1890. From 1909 he was the royal district administrator in Viechtach and from 1912 a councilor in the government of Upper Bavaria - Chamber of the Interior. As of June 21, 1910, he succeeded Lorenz Klimmer as a member of the Bavarian State Parliament in the 20th and 21st electoral terms for the constituency of Wkr. Regen / Ndb. From 1920 he was Ministerialrat in the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture , from 1932 as head of department. In 1934 he was transferred to permanent retirement.
