Georg Heinrich Borowski

Georg Heinrich Borowski (born July 26, 1746 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † July 26, 1801 in Frankfurt an der Oder ) was a German naturalist and economist.

Borowski studied in Königsberg and in 1774 became a teacher of natural history at the Brandenburg College of Knights . In 1775 he went to Berlin and shortly afterwards became a teacher at the Philanthropin in Heidesheim . In 1779 he received the professorship for natural history at the Brandenburg University of Frankfurt , and in 1789 for economics and camera science . Borowski founded an agricultural college on his Greden estate .
