Georg Janett
Georg Janett , also Georges Janett (born June 26, 1937 in Basel , † January 17, 2014 in Zurich ) was a Swiss film editor and screenwriter .
Life
Janett came to Zurich in the late 1950s and made his first short films there. He mainly worked as a film editor and was involved in 28 productions. As a screenwriter he worked on seven productions.
In 1974 he was co-founder and first president of the Swiss Association of Film Technicians. From 1980 he was also editor of the film magazine Ciné-Bulletin . In 1990 he was honored with the City of Zurich Art Prize.
