reception

Silvia Hallensleben wrote in a review of this film: “The Viennese writer Friederike Mayröcker is not exactly a media animal. Carmen Tartarotti was also only allowed to shoot with her under strict conditions. Without a team, as discreetly as possible and without hindering the poet's life or work rhythm. She doesn't like to speak at all. But it does. Obviously, the tough conditions made it easier to make a magical artist film of a different kind, which does not bore us with biographical sequences, but trusts the presence of the person and the paperwork. "

"It is the most beautiful documentary about the beloved Friederike Mayröcker", says the Austrian singer and musician Anja Plaschg, known as Soap & Skin .
