Cut price
The editing award recognizes the best national performance of a film editor .
Filmplus , Cologne's festival and forum for film editing and montage art, has been awarding the editing prize in the feature film category since 1999 . Since 2004, a prize has also been awarded for the documentary film category , and in 2005 the prize for a young editor was added. The lifetime achievement of an editor has been recognized with the honorary award, since 2008 this award has also been endowed.
