action

Gitti and Chris keep getting into each other's hair when they are on vacation in Sardinia at Chris 'parents' house. Despite these little arguments, they have always been a happy couple and have had good times together. But then the unequal couple meets Sana and Hans, whom Chris has known since studying architecture. The others make the perfect couple; behind a modern facade they hide a clear division of roles. That impressed Gitti and Chris. Chris is now trying to take on the strong role in the relationship and is fully absorbed in it. Gitti is alienated by this new side of her boyfriend, but tries to adjust to his expectations.

criticism

“With meticulous accuracy and intimate closeness to the excellently played characters, the film follows the decomposition process of a relationship in the field of tension between longings and expectations, inner insecurities and social patterns. The tragicomic gender struggle, staged with meticulous precision, impressively reflects the dilemma of a generation that has more freedom for self-realization than ever before, but which finds it difficult to accept obligations and also to endure disappointments. "
