Bernd Schlegel

Bernd Schlegel (born January 19, 1972 in Munich ) is a German film editor .

Live and act

Bernd Schlegel has been working in film editing since the early 1990s after an internship , the first few years as an assistant editor. In 2006 he and Hansjörg Weißbrich were awarded the Filmplus Editing Prize for the feature film Requiem and nominated for the German Film Prize ( Best Editing ). In 2016 and 2019 he was nominated for the German Television Award ( Best Editing ).

Schlegel is a member of the German Film Academy and the Federal Association of Film Editing Editor eV (BFS) . He lives in Munich.
