Christoph Brunner

Christoph Brunner (* 1978 in Linz ) is an Austrian film editor , cameraman and filmmaker .

Live and act

Christoph Brunner was born in Linz in 1978 and studied from 1997 at the Höhere Graphische Bundes-Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna . In 2001 he began studying directing and cinematography at the Vienna Film Academy . With the successful short film The Life of C. Brunner he was accepted at the film school. Since then he has made his own short films, directed a number of cameras and worked as an editor. He made the film Blackstory , which was released in 2012, with Stefan Brunner , who also studied at the Vienna Film Academy .

Today Christoph Brunner works as a freelance filmmaker, editor and cameraman. Among other things, he edited films by Michael Glawogger and Ulrich Seidl . In 2017 he and Christof Schertenleib were awarded the Bild-Kunst Schnitt Preis Dokumentarfilm for Ulrich Seidl's Safari as part of the editing awards.
