Ulrike Kofler
Ulrike Kofler (* 1974 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian film editor , film director and screenwriter .
Life
Ulrike Kofler trained as a photographer at the Höhere Graphische Bundes-Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna , where she also studied video. She completed this training in 1997 with a diploma. Then she studied editing at the Vienna Film Academy until 2002 . Her diploma film was Un peu beaucoup , directed by Marie Kreutzer , with whom she has worked for several years. From 2005 to 2012 Kofler studied at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne . Her diploma film We fly there , which she directed and for which she wrote the screenplay, has won several awards.
In addition to her work as an editor in film and television productions, Ulrike Kofler devoted herself to media-educational film work with young people, migrants and mentally and physically disabled people. She also created numerous video installations for theatrical performances.
Kofler is a member of the Austrian Film Editing Association and the Academy of Austrian Films .
