Pablo Ben-Yakov
Pablo Ben-Yakov (born March 30, 1986 in Saarbrücken ) is a German actor and director .
Life
Pablo Ben-Yakov is the son of Alice Hoffmann . He played his first role in the 1995 SR children's crime series Hart an der Grenz (director: Alexander Kern). This was followed by leading roles in short films, the series An honorable House (director: Maurice Phillipe Remy), in Münchner Tatort (director: Vivian Naefe ) and TV films such as Der Sommer mit Boiler (director: Anna Justice) or Sieben Tage im Paradies (director : Dietmar Klein). Ben-Yakov had other roles in series such as Ein Fall für Zwei , Die Wache , SOKO Leipzig , Wilsberg , SOKO 5113 and 112 - They save your life . He made his cinema debut with Alles Bob by O. A. Jahrreis. Pablo Ben-Yakov took on a film role as Lukas Hoffmann in the film Gegenüber (director: Jan Bonny), which premiered in Cannes in 2007 .
In 2018, his documentary film Lord of the Toys won the Golden Dove, the main prize of the Leipziger Dok Festival .
