Gisela Haller

Gisela Haller (* 1936 ) is a German film editor .

Haller grew up in Berlin and completed her training at Mosaik-Film and Berliner Synchron . She began as an assistant editor in 1959, at which time she also met her future husband, the film editor Hermann Haller . In 1967 she made her debut as an editor for Herrliche Zeiten in the Spessart . She was mainly active in entertainment films, for example the Jerry Cotton film series of the 1960s or Die Lümmel von der Erste Bank . Her work includes more than 50 film and television productions. She edited her last film Today my husband is getting married in 2006.

In 2011 Gisela Haller was awarded the Geißendörfer Editing Prize by the Forum for Film Editing and Montage Art .

Gisela Haller lives in Munich.
