occupation

Oysters with Mustard is a German-French co-production in 1979 that was directed by Franz Antel . The film, which premiered on August 10, 1979 in Cologne , Düsseldorf and Reutlingen and later - after the success of the main actor Sascha Hehn in the television series Das Traumschiff - was re-released as the dream bus , received bad reviews.

action

The bus drivers Luc and Gaston, who work in Nice , not only make passengers wait more often because of their rival love for Marguerite, but also cause them to miss a train that Marguerite wanted to take with her women's ski team. On the spur of the moment, the two colleagues misuse the bus and drive the girls to the Tyrolean Alps. There Luc, who pretended to be a trainer, is mistaken for a bank robber and arrested. The real bank robber can be found by the girls' driving skills.

Remarks

Since the city council of Nice refused to provide one of their original buses for the film, an identical bus was recreated in Austria and brought to Nice, where it caused some confusion in traffic.

French titles are La fac en délire and Les huîtres à la moutarde . The film was shot in 30 days between April 1 and May 18, 1979. The outdoor shots took place in Kitzbühel and on the Côte d'Azur .

Alternative German title for DVD release: Der Traumbus.

criticism

The critics were of one opinion in their rejection: “A piece of clothing that is cheap in every respect”, “Yesterday's news and from A to Z just stupid.” “Stupid erotic comedy garnished with puns, sex scenes and third-class disco music. "
