Marty Schenk
Marty Schenk (* 1982 in Berlin ) is a German film editor .
Life
After graduating from high school, Marty Schenk began an internship at BIGFISH Filmproduktion in Berlin in 2001 and then worked as an editor at Das Werk. Since 2005 he has been working on a freelance basis.
For the short film Leroy cleans up he was awarded the Film + / BMW Group Förderpreis Schnitt 2005 .
His first feature film Leroy (2007), for which he was responsible for editing , was awarded the 2008 German Film Prize for Best Children's and Youth Film.
In 2010 he received the “German Film Hof Förderpreis” for editing the film Luks Glück .
In addition to internationally award-winning commercials, he edited music videos for u. a. Deichkind , Fettes Brot , Tocotronic .
