Georg König (politician, 1897)

Georg König (born August 25, 1897 in Diersheim , † August 7, 1976 in Karlsruhe ) was a German farmer and politician ( FDP / DVP ).

After attending primary school, König completed an agricultural apprenticeship and then worked in his parents' business. He took part in the First World War as a soldier and then worked as a farmer in Diersheim. In 1952, König was a member of the state constituent assembly of Baden-Württemberg and was then a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament until 1964 . From 1954 he was mayor of the home community Diersheim.
