Georg Klingenberg (lawyer)

Georg Klingenberg (born January 31, 1942 in Graz ; † July 31, 2016 there ) was an Austrian legal scholar .

Klingenberg studied law and political science at the University of Graz and received his doctorate there in 1966. jur. and in 1969 Dr. rer. pole. From 1970 he was a university assistant at the Institute for Roman Law and Ancient Legal History at the University of Graz, where he also completed his habilitation in 1978 and began teaching. Since September 1991 he has been a full professor of Roman law at the University of Linz . In 2010 he retired. Georg Klingenberg died on July 31, 2016 in Graz. His legacy, the book Examination Customer , was published by his son in the newly founded Klingenberg Verlag in February 2017.
