Georg Krafft

Georg Krafft (also: Georg Crafft von Halle or Georg Craft ; † before August 29, 1512 in Mainz ) was a red and brass caster and gunsmith from Kurmainz .

On December 16, 1490 he committed himself for life to remain gunsmith of the archbishopric. On April 4, 1496, the elector sold him the house to the great stork located at the St. Quintin Church . In 1508 he cast the bell for St. Ursula Church in Oberursel and in the following year the four large brass candelabra for St. Stephan .

His tombstone is on the northern outer wall of the St. Quintin Church.
